The world awoke on Wednesday morning to some shocking news: Aaron Hernandez, a 27-year-old former star NFL tight end who was convicted of murder, had been found hanged in his cell on Wednesday morning. Hernandez had been acquitted of two additional murder charges last week, but was still serving a life sentence for a 2015 conviction of first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
